A song, and a box on the porch

Nobody signed a name beneath it.

A quiet song about a wooden box that keeps moving from door to door — filled up, passed on, never brought back. Out now, rolling out in 10 languages.

Pass It On badge

fill it up, pass it on

Fill it up. Pass it on.

Don't bring it back — just move it along.

Take what you need, leave something too,

then pass it on to somebody new.

— the heart of the song, in four lines
Why this exists

The world has enough bad news. Help make some good.

War. Heat. Grief. Most days the news hands you nothing you can actually do anything about. This is one small thing you can: fill a box, leave it out, let it move on to somebody else.

It only works if it travels. Build one. Tell someone. Send this page on — start it moving on your own street, in your own country. No leader to follow, no login required — just an open Facebook group for anyone who wants to compare notes, and people passing something on.

Join in — make a difference. Share this everywhere.

BEHIND THE PROJECT

Why I started this

I'm building my own Pass-It-On Box right now — cutting the panels, testing the laser, getting the words right. I'm a bit behind, but a short video explaining why I started this whole thing, and what it means to me, is coming.

It doesn't have to look like mine. Any box works — a crate, a bin, a basket, a shelf, whatever you've got — as long as it carries the same message: take what you need, add something if you can, don't return it, pass it on. Share the story, build a box, and pass it on.
